Smoking on a plane! The armrests had a small metal flip-top ashtray. As a kid on a trip with my dad, I kept flipping the lid back and forth out of boredom until I got a hand slap to stop it, so I must have started wining. My dad said, stop wining--you're like those people on tv. :)

(The L1011 was so large, it had a smoking area in the back they could stand around in.)

WOW, so this is where Julia Sweeney got her voice and mannerisms for "Pat" character in "It's Pat". She sounds EXACTLY like Mrs. Whiner.

This is actually “Wendy” (Robin Kurtz) from Schitt’s Creek who was David’s boss for a while at the Blouse Barn. Loved her character!
