I've watched a few of your videos now, great stuff! There are TONS of MegaSquirt videos out there, I've struggled to find ones that are clear, concise, and to the point like yours are. Also, this is the first I've found with a good explanation of smoothing. Keep it up!

Good, clean and to the point info.
You keep doing this. I'll keep watching 'em.

What I started doing is keeping tracks of the original table, the VE analyzed table and the smoother table in excel. Then I do a simple analyze of final smooth table versus the original in %. Tells me exactly how much I've added or removed everywhere. Also, MS always uses 4 bins in the calculations. So if you look at the datalog where the engine "needs" the fuel, check the resulting VE and make sure the average of the 4 news bins is the same ! Final'y, I like to use the smooth tool for smaller portion at a time, but that's preference only. Thanks for the video !

If you tune a couple specific spots, can you lock those cells and smooth around it? Or even interpolate (smooth) between 2 locked spots.

Great vid. I was forced into learning how to tune. Built my Harley and could not find a shop to tune it. Running a power vision 1.
