Great video and very informative. I live quite nearby and also in the process of planning knockdown rebuild. Can I ask if you leave you rear patio doors open during summer months? Currently our doors are only closed when we’re not home. My concern is would render the system inadequate for cooling the house down? Or is this not the case?

So many devices and materials have to be imported from Europe, I cannot imagine how expensive this house is

I built passive house in the Pocket Billinudgel NSW in 1982, not certified passive house and latest in Blue Mountains in Dec 2018, it was not certified passive house but all passive house requirements, the developer/builder was unwilling spent any additional on certification, which would have required a blower door test. Build cost for 240 m2 was $2134.50/m2 included 15% builder margin.
Several local Entrepreneurs and I are organising a four-day EV & Renewable Energy Conference/Field day will be held in Lismore, NSW at the 23rd to 26th Sept 2021.
It will bring together people who believe in sustainable futures, and professionals from the EV, Renewable Energy & Built Environment industries.
