Very interesting take that Nietzsche (and Deleuze) recognized that power (contra Spinoza) isn't maximizing ones capacity to affect, but also has the capacity to be acted upon as its precondition in a feedback loop. This rather impressive and more resonating reading may be closer than what most people view the relationship between active and reactive. We are always caught between the two, active forces are unconscious while reactive forces are conscious which then drives being to respond.

“Hierarchy represents an order of rank that is required to determine values of any kind”
Great precision here.

Speaking of Boscovich, "Nietzsche, Biology and Metaphor" by Gregory Moore is a great resource on Nietzsche and his biological influences put in general XIX century science context. I highly recommend it.

Could it be however that “Nobles” and “commoners “ EACH have had and have they’re resentful and their self possessed ? In my experience I do not find that haves and have nots positively correlate to respectively self possessed and resentful. This is where I personally veer off.
