A detailed look at a generic hydraulic lift (from on top)

This is a typical crap hydraulic generic lift. There is nothing inspiring about this lift. This lift is very cheap and bog standard. It is assembled from various brought in parts (rather than the lift being design by an actual company who manufacturer it).

Generic lift companies don't make any part of their lifts, they just assemble them. They often have pretentious crap on their websites and often say things like "we are England's leading provider of lifts" which is obviously a total lie.

As well as this, generic lifts are made very cheaply, and don't run great. They have horrid Dewhurst buttons, and most of all they have complete rubbish logic controllers. Generic lifts always timewaste. Every time you press a button there is a delay, when it reaches a floor it has to wait a second before opening the doors, etc. (the best lifts open the doors just BEFORE the lift stops).

2/3m/s? There are escalators that are quicker than that. It's miserable really that the majority of lifts in the UK are generic pieces of shit that last 10 years max, and are probably built this way also because of planned obsolescence, which is where things are deliberately made so they won't be too good, because they want you to buy another one when it breaks. Should be illegal and it's certainly not green either

U are lucky that there is room at the top if not u will be crushed and the lift will jam or u will have to press the stop button andtheperson
