Mixing Budget Chalk Paint for a High End Color

In this video I created a beautiful blue using Budget Waverly Chalk Paint from Walmart! The color reminds me of Annie Sloan's Louis Blue which I kept calling "French Blue" in the video lol! I really loved the color and the end results. This is beginner friendly and pretty budget friendly also!

I painted a totally black TV console with Annie Sloan chalk paint. I had started gilding around the panels of each door in antique gold when I found this video. I was surprised how similar the two pieces were in base color and gold highlights. Kacha has become my mentor.

So happy for you❣️ This piece did turn out wow sooo pretty and French🌟 one of the first thrifted pieces I bought from Goodwill was a triple French Provincial dresser $35 ....I left it all beat and banged up in my downstairs hallway for a couple of years then decided to paint and put in my master bedroom closet with shelves over was long before you so now going to go back to that piece and make her pretty ....we painted all one color...very similar blue color and we didn’t even seal the chalk paint🙈 now I will make you proud....I did at least paint the Hardware ....but round two will be so much better❣️ been so hot outside so need to paint stuff in the house....thank you for sharing😊Kimberly from Delaware

Kacha, this dresser is exquisite! I came across another video of yours and subscribed. You are extremely talented and the way you explain what you are doing is perfect for me as a beginner.
