Your favorite cars are a matter of opinion. Whether you like the top of the line sports car to the cheap Facebook marketplace Honda Civic - everybody has their own taste. For today's video I go down my brief list of cars off the top of my head that were disappointing - mostly in the last 20 years or so. We've seen the automotive industry change with its culture and technology - but what will truly make the cut? Let's talk about it.

Can we get a RIP for Mitsubishi and their dignity? That financial recession really killed them. I’m still annoyed and surprised at how Mitsubishi has never fully recovered. Have you made a video on that already?

The quiet crowd and slow clap by the presenter at the Integra launch is the funniest car reveal of all time.

If anything, the new Bronco showed the world what you should do when reviving a dead car. (Edit: For clarification, I meant the design aspect)

A lot of cars were disappointments because companies advertised them as something that they weren't which raises our expectations and it doesn't deliver like the companies said they would. Plus some cars were made to look fast but were actually slow AF and handled like a shopping cart.

9:00 I'm glad I wasn't the only one with that expectation. I know car companies think that small compacts may be struggling to sell against big SUVs, but IMO:
If they still made COOLER COMPACTS _we'd still buy them!_ Shame the Dart nameplate died as fast as it did...American Compact Cars are becoming a passing memory. How tragic.

I remember the 4door Integra, because I had one with a five-speed manual. It was a blast with room for the car seat!

The new Z is the first recent car to come out that actually looks pretty unique compared to everything else on the road

I would like to add Maxima to the list. They used to be fun and engaging and you could even buy one w/ a manual. They were slowly neutered into being heavy, over-styled and over priced. Near Infiniti price combined w/ Altima level resale values....no wonder they are discontinued.

If they just made the new integra smaller it would have done amazing but with modern safety it has to be huge

I bought a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander In 2010. I really did like it. February 2011 I went to the Chicago Auto Show and Mitsubishi was handing out little die cast outlanders as keepsakes, but it wasn't just for the Outlander, it was to promote the Evolander they had on display. It's was so sick, An Outlander with aero, body kit, I think they were onto something way back then. I think the Evolander could have saved the Mitsubishi that everyone loved.

As a new Integra owner I agree with everything you said. It’s nothing to write home about but it does exactly what it is suppose to do. Name it something different and it would have had a completely different reaction. It’s the perfect daily driver for someone who wants a civic si but doesn’t want all the red interior

My dad bought an SSR brand new in 2005. Had the 6.0 in it. I was 21 at the time and LOVED driving that thing. Fast as hell and very cool (at the time, at least). My dad let me take it on a 500+ mile road trip and loved every minute of it. The SSR will always hold a special place in my heart.

I can appreciate the new civic si but they are litterally slower than a 2010 si and cost nearly 10k more. Im not sure how honda managed to pull that off. The only new "cheap" car I really like is the gr86 but I ordered mine a whole year ago and haven't gotten a delivery date yet so I am starting to get a little frustrated.

I've been a car enthusiast nearly my entire life. I've been following your channel since the early smurf days while I was in high school, but lately I've almost lost all interest in the industry as a whole. Used enthusiast cars have become way overpriced. New vehicles are already expensive, but it feels like manufactures are spitting in your face when they advertise a car's MSRP, but you can't even get it for that price because of dealership markups. I'm disappointed in general, and with how expensive everything else has become, I'll most likely set this interest aside until I'm closer to my 40s.

I kinda liked the SSR. I liked it when GM and others had those short runs of specialized vehicles (GNX, Typhoon, 454SS, the SS vehicles in the mid 2000's, etc.) Those SSR trucks are about as rarely seen as the retro Ford T-bird.

I was a valet for years in downtown Portland in a tiny lot. All the club members had fancy cars but the Ghibli was to park, had the most sensitive parking sensors of any car I have been in. Drove it down a super tight row and it beeped on both sides the entire time and super loud. I got out laughing because it wouldn't stop until I shut the damn thing off.

9:33 I’m just glad Maserati is actually improving and going back to being good again. The Ghibli was terrible (or so I’ve heard), but newer models like the MC20, new GT and Grecale seem a lot more well sorted

What were they thinking w/the Blazer. Maybe they saw the Mach-E and thought, “We can fail even better than that. We’ll make a Mazda CX-9!”

I love SSRs. The perfect truck for non-truck guys. It came out when I was 5, and I think it perfectly complimented the C5 corvette at the time. Still love it 20 years later.
