1. Proper Fractions - In a proper fraction, you can take all your slices from just the one pie.
Trick to remember - Numerator is smaller than Denominator.

2. Improper Fractions - Improper fraction, you need more than one pie to get the number of slices that you need.
Trick to remember - Numerator is equal or greater than Denominator.

3. Mixed Proper Fractions - Mixed fractions consists of whole number & proper fractions together.

4. Equivalent Fractions - Are written with the different numerator and denominator pairs, but the result is the same.
