This set has to be up there with the greatest talk show stand-up sets ever televised. Julio’s writing. Authentic, timely and hilarious. His timing. Not rushed at all, in tune with the material and audience and not impacted by nerves. So much work had to bring him to this point. He stuck the landing every time. It’s just so good.

I laughed so hard at "como se dice... vegan queer collective" lolll. Seeing my generation and demographic represented accurately is an unexpected, but very welcome surprise. Haven't seen him before but I was delighted by his sprawling, dry wit. Definitely gonna check out more of his stand up.

Oh dear goodness, that was bloody hilarious. I’ve literally just been caught so beautifully unawares as to this particular brand of surrealism because he truly and honestly did manage to make me laugh right out loud (so much so that my neighbours now love him too). It’s like he breathed a fresh brand of new life into that stale and cliched old trope of the irrepressible style of dry British deadpan humour, yet in my opinion, this young man revived it into something way much funnier. What a delightful treat, I’m so gleefully happy right now……and deservedly so in my opinion because I’ve had an atrocious night and this just goes to show that laughter truly is the best medicine at times. X
