Been running the pitch program for years on my D1 lite on my Roman site and it's pulled some absolute belters out including a silver Celtic. It's my go to program. Recently updated to D2 full so that should open up the permission a bit more 🙏

I love my D1, using your modified Hot program, I go over the years on the same fields, and still find extremely small coins, like 5mm today, what's important is: having fun

Thanks Gary for all your lessons. I will have to try the pitch program out. I usually use the hot program when I go out, and tweak the settings a little depending on where I am at. The deep program is hard to use here. We have extremely high mineralized ground. I get lots of falsing in the deep mode :(

Calabash Digger had done a lot of testing on the pitch method over here in the States. His program has really shined in my heavy iron infested colonial sites. It has become one of my go to programs along with, you guessed it, your sonar program !! On my Deus 2 I’ve been having good luck with the Tekkna program. Great video Gary as always !

Ive never used the pitch audio on the deus one yet, and only a couple times on the legend, i need to try it out sometime

I got an off topic question about the deus one, the elliptical HF coil specifically, have you ever seen one drain batteries under a usable voltage, mines killed two batteries in a row, i have it sent in to the vendor right now, but i put a brand new battery in, charged it to 100%, a week later it was completely dead, no heart beat, it killed the old battery too

hey, I use the deus 1 but without the screen as I don't have the money for it yet. Just wondering what you'd reccomend for that? I'm going out tomorrow and was thinking of using the settings you showed in the last video but with a higher discrimination

Gary, at the beginning of this video I noticed that your remote appears to have a screw clamp type fitting? Can you tell me more please as my remote is always dropping off with a slight tap.

I love pitch audio on a few of my programs. It’s good in dense iron. It’s good in those sites where you want to hunt a certain depth level because the audio response is superb. It’s good in old sites where you want to dig big iron and all non ferrous like a colonial or civil war site. I also really enjoy the sonar program for the oldest home sites in plowed fields. Done very well with full tones as well. I have both the D1 and D2. D2 will find things that D1 won’t but I just love the way 9” HF on the D1 behaves in dense square nail iron. Then use the D2 to get the more masked stuff located.

Hello gary amazing video as usual! I recently purchased a deus 1 on v5.21 and I cannot seem to access the advanced options to choose the x/y screen any ideas? I have tryed pressing the pinpoint and + button on the menu but no luck thanks
