I was 18. It was my best friend, it ended up being a long and very, very good make out session. I always thought my first kiss would be bad, but it was actually well beyond pleasant. I was never one of those “I’m waiting because I want it to be special”-people, the situation just never came up until then, but it ended up being “special” anyway. Me: *dodges it for no reason and kisses him on cheek*

Me: "Goodniighht!!"
We both went home, and I get a text from him saying "let's pretend that never happened, let's try again tomorrow?"
I cant think about this without grinding my teeth together cringing.

Back freshman year after winning the soccer season I gave her a casual hug then grabbed her and kissed her.

I was 14 at the same summer camp my dad went to in the 70s. We had kind of been flirting but he was popular and good looking so I figured it was just how he talked to girls.
We were in ranch camp with horses which meant that the boys and girls got to camp together rather than separately like every other cabin. His counselor definitely knew what was up and sent us in to the trip shack to get the camping supplies.
I was wearing a snapback angled on my head since it was about 2013 and I was a tomboy. I was trying to figure out which tent poles were long and short without opening them up, when I look to him to see if he knows and he kissed me.
It was unexpected and warm and wet, my snapback was pushed off by his forehead, and I peeked one eye open after a while because I didn’t know what to do. After what seemed like an eternity but was probably just a few seconds, our counselor comes in and says, “finding everything?” we practically shoved each other away and got the rest of the supplies. He broke up with me over email when we got home.
Fast forward a few awkward summers of hating each other and we end up working together at the same summer camp. I had just graduated high school, lost my father to cancer, and broken up with my high school sweetheart.
My first night ever drinking, we played truth or dare with friends and ended up leaving together and fooling around just like when we were kids.
Haven’t talked to him since but that’s my crazy story!
