i managed to resize the tail to my preferred size (the tip and base).... but you need a hecka strong computer

for some reason whenever i do this my scales keep on getting further apart when using the array even though they are the same size and the same distance apart

Wouldn't it be easier to unsubdivide the tube or poke it's faces and instance the scale? Faster and easier
