I remember a year or two ago, there was this talk within the gaming community about this particular level. I recall people saying that he was on a timer because eventually one was not going to be able to upload to SMM. Looks like he got it done. Congratulations!🎉

This was a great reaction. I'm glad you only used the actual run in your video to encourage people to watch it themselves. It's good. I was so proud to see him finally complete this. It's definitely the biggest achievement in gaming history! I hope he gets to upload it still. The SMM community has a fan service for keeping online still going, similar to Wiimmfi for Mario Kart Wii!

My first thought was that hitting the axe would be cathartic and it probably was. But after a brief read of the description on Trials of Death, I thought that it must have been a bittersweet moment. He spent the past seven years doing this. There's probably a sense of finality from having beat this and maybe even a sense of loss.

He set out to make the hardest Mario Maker level in history and it'd be pretty hard to dispute that this is indeed it and probably will remain so.
