The 29th APEC Summit, which opens on Nov 18, seeks to promote regional economic integration. The global energy crisis and supply chain disruptions are expected to top the agenda. All eyes are also on the first in-person meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Territorial disputes and tensions over Taiwan are expected to dominate their talks.
