How Long Was Israel In Egypt? A Deep Dive in Jewish Sources

In this video I take a deep dive in to many of the ancient Jewish sources rabbinic and non rabbinic, to ascertain how long the Israelites were in Egypt. One thing is for certain, it wasn't 400 years. I will bring evidence from Josephus, the Septuagint, the Seder Olam, various midrashim, the book of Galatians, the Samaritan Pentateuch, and of course the scripture itself. TY. That SIMPLIFIES that better than anything I’ve read/heard so far. Now, Book of Jasher, mentioned twice, I believe in the Cannon, says in chapter 81, 3 and 4, says 210. The number 215 is mentioned often too.

The LXX preserves a more ancient Hebrew text than the Masoretic text... The Masoretic text has this one wrong... (There's also some age issues in the genealogies in the Masoretic text vs the LXX)
