Well done, I have long looked for a clear explanation of the mixer stage and you have clearly done that in a clear and easily understandable format

Very good lessons about frequency! I'm trying to build a frequency divider that could be used to measure a GHz signal with a 100MHz osciloscope. I've been tinkering with some circuits using decade counters, flip-flops, but they all fail to bring a GHz signal down because they are mostly intented for 1MHz to 60MHz frequencies. Do you know what is the best way to achieve this?

Is it correct that the first part you were explaining with the phase detection and VCO feedback loop, is called a PLL (phase locked loop)? I never really understood this concept until your explanation. Thank you sir!
I still have some questions though. I understand how we would use this synthesiser as a tuneable oscillator to 'select' our input frequency by mixing it in with the input signal. However, it is also used in the RF input filter to filter our input signal from the antenna. How does that work? Also, by using division, we're still only able to select discrete frequencies. So how would we use it to select any input signal we want? Sorry, I'm completely new at this RF stuff... Thank you for your awesome videos, you are a good teacher!

Do you take requests? When you're done with frequency dividers, can you do a series on dollar multipliers?
