Today, I turned my Nintendo Switch into a working PHONE!
Using homebrew apps like hekate, pretendo, switchroot, and atmosphere custom firmware for the Nintendo Switch, was able to turn my switch into a phone.

In this modding video, I turned my Nintendo Switch into a Phone by using different homebrew apps and Atmosphere custom firmware. Turing my nintendo switch into a phone allowed to me use Android on it and play different android games from the Google play store. I played different games on my modded Nintendo Switch in this video and tried to make a phone call. My content is inspired by laiyenz, The Retro Future, scott the woz, Chillyn', and Macho Nacho Productions.

I literally remember back then there was the switchroot project that managed to run Android and Linux but years later, official LineageOS team decided to make Android for switch. I also used have Android on my switch but removed it because I wanted more games lol

Remember that in the Wii days there was a rumor that Nintendo would start making cellphones.

I just laugh at the idea but there are times I think it would have been nice if I can just do calls on my 3DS or Switch with no need to carry my phone around.

By default Google Voice will try to use your carrier dialer (which the Switch lacks). To fix this, go to settings and set the "making and receiving calls" option to "prefer WiFi and Data".

You used an unofficial build of ljneage os that is not being maintained anymore which is why it only was android 11 but you could have used the officially supported rom for the switch from the lineageos maintainers which is currently at android 14.
