As someone who works at EY and was asked by three of the Big 4 for an interview (I'm an attorney who is about to become a CPA) - when you apply there is a part on the applications that mentions offices you wish to work in/interested in. Place only the name of the office the job you are applying for is in. The question is very misleading and leads to an immediate rejection. A lot of people think it's a harmless question to see flexibility or just location desire in general. Don't fall for it.

Great video! Just started at PwC as a management consultant, always wondered the difference between MBB and Big Four in terms of consulting services. I guess it makes sense that they don't directly compete with each other as the prior focuses on strategy whereas the latter on implementation. PwC actually has their own strategy consulting branch Strategy&, which is meant to compete with MBBs.

I recently ignored an opportunity to apply to McKenzie because I was basically in doubt if I have got what they required for a consulting pathway.
