Allergen-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies:

To a large bowl add:
5 cups fine almond flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Whisk to mix well.

In a separate bowl combine:
1/2 cup softened coconut oil
1/2 cup melted honey
4 tsp. vanilla extract

Stir to combine the wet ingredients

Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.

Chill 30 min while you preheat oven to 350 F.

Drop spoonfuls of batter on a cookie sheet. I like to use parchment paper.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until slightly brown.

Let cool 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.

Enjoy!

I get all of my wheat berries from Bread Beckers. They have a huge variety, including many ancient grains, and the shipping cost, although higher than it used to be which I understand, isn’t so high it kills the value of the grains. They are fantastic quality, and I’ve never had an issue. I get Hard and Soft white most regularly, but also use Spelt, Rye and Barley. Since my first order from here, I’ve never ordered anywhere else. They also have a good variety of beans and lentils that I also buy. Black beans, kidney, pinto, canalini, and brown lentils are my staples. Absolutely love this company. And Sue Becker has a wealth of information on you tube as well as her blog.

I buy from Country Life Natural Foods, MI. They ship free in orders over $99. It ships fast and very well protected. I just bought honey in a glass container and it came bubble wrapped with shipping peanuts in a separate box. I’m very happy their attention to detail.

I have ordered many 25 lb bags of the organic cane sugar and it has never looked like yours. Thankfully our drop is just minutes away and 75% of our bulk food/cleaners/spices/and many items come from Azure. I will never stop buying from Azure. Love them and all of their products! The rest of our stuff is from Costco and local farms.

In the pacific north west we have abundant Azure drop locations, some even coming every week. I have to be careful of the prices. Lately things that were always a good are not at all any more. I do think their line of coconut products (oil, cream, milk, flakes...) is really the best deal around.

I wish there was a drop location near me. I splurged and ordered once online. I was pleased w everything I ordered, however the shipping fee was more than I can swing on a continual basis. Thanks for sharing your info! 😊

Thankful_.

I so agree with not purchasing produce from Azure. I have found the same problem. After three orders and all of the fruit “sub-par” I decided enough.

Thank you for the pointers! We move to acreage in a few months and I’m looking to go more self-reliant and less processed for my family. I recently watched your video on meal planning for a year and just tonight sat down and thought of 28 different meals my family thoroughly enjoys… it was hard! 😅 and > a third are chicken meals! My children and husband like what they like 😂

I'm in Pennsylvania and make the monthly drive to Lancaster County (about an hour away) for the Mennonite/Amish stores. BBs Grocery, SharpShopper, and Ebeneezer's Grocery all offer bulk and scratch & dent. We tend to shop Restaurant Depot for many bulk food items including pantry staples and potatoes.

Allot of great info in this video. I buy from Azures but you named off a couple places I wasn’t aware of and I’m getting a few more in the comment section. Greatly appreciated 😊 our local Mennonite store doesn’t carry the bulk dry goods like the one in the video, wish they did.

I see all of these YT videos where people buy from Azure, and I'd love to do that. Like your family, I live an hour and a half from the nearest drop point (My town has bumper stickers that say 'Locally Isolated', LOL). I've looked at their website, pondered trying to get a drop point here, etc. I just don't have time to be the instigator of that. We do have some Amish/Mennonite stores a little closer, 45-min/1 hour, and we do go to those, with coolers in the truck, but it's a half-day excursion. Good prices though, and things you can't find elsewhere. One of them even grinds their own peanut butter with various other flavors. Our famer's market in this little liberal town is VERY Expensive. I grow most of our food, always have, and this year the weather is better than last year. Thank you for the very nice video! I still wish I could get some of this stuff, but I just have to tell myself I've lived without it almost 70 years, so we'll just keep on keeping on! It's good to see young people like you getting back to basics!

Pleasant Hill Grains
Palouse

I’ve purchased Wheatberries and beans / legumes from both.

Pleasant Hill has their products already packed in Food Grade sealed buckets.

Great price and quick delivery for both Companies

I had the same experience with “frozen” cherries - the container was already leaking when I got it off the truck. Couldn’t re freeze them. Delicious, but I wasn’t expecting to eat them all at once!

Helpful video - thanks!

I love those dish rags also! They are sold at our somewhat local Amish bulk food store.

I would love Sunday deliveries. As a young working professional in Southern California, it’s incredibly difficult for me to do the random weekday pick ups. I barely get a few days notice and I can’t just leave work for hours without two weeks notice.

I bought sugar like that from somewhere else, what we end up doing is putting it in the blender to make it finer.

I love ordering my meat from Alden Hills in southern WI. I live in NW WI, and as long as I order the minimum, which is no problem when ordering a 1/4 beef or 1/2 pork, I get free overnight shipping on dry ice. It has worked great!
