Alan Shearer reflects on 'difficult situation' as presenters return to MOTD after BBC's Lineker row

Pundit Alan Shearer told viewers that last week was a "difficult situation", when sports presenters and journalists refused to appear on-air.

However, he added it was "good to get back to some normality and to be talking about football again".

Gary Leftwinger is entitled to his silly views but he shouldn't be doing the show simply because he's not very good at it. He interrupts, forgets what he wants to say, stutters and is just generally poor at being a host.

I think the BBC missed a trick here. They should of sacked Lineker, Shearer, Richards and replaced them with a Drag Queen, A Gender neutral (they/them) and a Transgender?. Now that would of been a "power move" for equality, diversity at the BBC.
