You gotta stay cool. The first question I got wrong and I started panicking. I took some breathes and took my time, I ended up passing missing 4. It's okay to be nervous, but do not let it affect your thinking. You have seen these questions before, they are not new. Trust your gut, do not over-think. The questions are common sense, think logically and imagine a simulation in your head of the described scenario. You will do great, just have confidence. (If it makes you feel better, I have REALLY bad anxiety.)

AND DON’T BE AFRAID TO FAIL!!!

This test can be pretty stressful but you can take it many times. Most of the time, people fail because of the fear of failing (for me personally, I just didn’t want to seem like a bad driver). Driving itself is a pretty big step in someone’s life anyways so don’t let it make you think that you aren’t ready for it. Once you overcome the mental game, the studying you did will decide whether you pass, so don’t forget to study.

I failed my permit test for the first time two weeks ago. Before I had to take the test again, I prayed in my heart that this would be the final round if I passed. I was nervous as I approached the DMV for the second permit test. I finally passed my permit test the second time around. It was a relief after I had been anxious and nervous throughout the test. Always believe in yourselves.

I suck at tests.. and back In high school I took it 5 times and failed all of them so I kinda gave up on it.. but I’ve been studying for a couple of weeks now non stop and it’s been helping me a lot! For CA, they make you do the test on a computer (it wasn't timed for me). When you get a question wrong, they'll immediately tell you that it's wrong so you can pace yourself throughout the test. You're also allowed to skip up to three questions if you're completely sure you don't know the answer. Saved me from a question I had no idea about. I don't know my score, but all I know is that I passed 😌

I am so thankful that I found this video! I was so worried because I watched this the night before and I was stressing so hard thinking that I was gonna fail, but no, I passed thanks to this video. To anyone that sees this comment and you are taking your test soon, one bit of advice is to just stay calm and tell yourself that you are gonna pass because you will!

The best piece of advice is to simply trust your gut and go with the most safe and logical answer. choose the answer with the least room for error if the scenario is executed.

After watching this video, I had to come back because I had my test today this afternoon and I PASSED ON MY FIRST TRY!!! Studying really does help and you just have to believe that you can do it. I was so nervous, but I finally did it. Thank you for all your amazing advice 🙏🏼

You can definitely pass without studying. My dad passed without even one tad bit of studying. Just choose the answers that are the most plausible.

I PASSED ON MY FIRST TRY! i took a lot of practice test videos both on youtube and the dmv site and then skimmed over the book during the day of/in line for the test and i got 33/36 or 32/36 !! the ones i missed i second guessed myself but DONT FREAK OUT they may not be exactly the same as practice ones but they are very very similar, just different wording. make sure to read the questions carefully, then piece together a visual picture of the scenario it asks in your head (i did this it really helps) and stay calm! you might be nervous but just breathe. good luck!

Thank you for this video and linking the practice tests! I took my permit test yesterday and passed c: I was there for about 2 hours and was doing the practice tests multiple times through the line and most questions on the practice tests were on the real test! i recommend doing the practice tests and studying the night before so its fresh on your mind !
