Powis Castle – Best Medieval Fortresses and Architecture in Wales

Unlike dozens of castles and beautiful examples of medieval architecture in Wales, which were destroyed in unfortunate historical events, Powis castle was well preserved.

Today it serves as a great example a medieval fortresses, the design of which was inspired by old French and Italian styles. Also a visit to Powis would not be complete without a visit to its famous gardens.
