Honestly, my big gripe is that you have to chase each of the sage phantoms in order to use their powers, and if youre in combat theyll literally run away from you!

I love how all the champions except tulins abilities are just worse versions of what fruit/flowers can do

The best way to use Sidon’s ability to get a bunch of Zora weapons, fuse high materials to them, and cover yourself with water in combat so you get double damage for a while.

Personally, I think the only actual sage with unique use was our birdy boi Tulin. The rest were easily replaced by fruit and an arrow, or a zonai device, or just being competent at the game.

I think what they could've done to sidon was make his water do different stuff depending on what attack you used
Examples: sword charged attack would make a water ring around link in which maybe enemies slow down in it.
Two handed charge attack could start as a whirlpool as link spins and then a giant wave that knocks back all enemies that got caught in the whirlpool
Spear charge attack could be a water bubble that gets bigger and stronger the more stabs link charges up, which then explodes on the final stab

Each of the champions where pretty good imo.
Tulin is great in general
Sidon gives a shield
Yunobo is good for mining (and doesn’t run out like bombs)
And Riju is useful when trying to find holes in caves or places in the depths
(The sphere which gets sent out when her ability is activated covers the surfaces and glows making it easier to see in the depths and see holes in caves)
And that’s why each of their nicknames I gave them correlate to to their uses
Yunobo - Blum (like dablum like gold like mining)
Sidon - Tier (Top tier shield and puts fire out when I blow myself up)
Riju - Diam (Diameter like a circle, like what her ability looks like)
And then Tulin is called Spree because that’s the sound of the wind

The water barrier was really helpful when I was exploring the Depths in the Eldin area before I could afford two pieces of the Flamebreaker armor set
