How to use Toner

Показать описание
In this video, I'll demonstrate how to use toner. It's important to note that there are two major categories of toners, but the application method I'll show can be effectively applied to both.
Hydrating toners are beneficial for restoring your skin's natural balance and moisture levels. They typically contain ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, or glycerin, which attract and retain water molecules, thus hydrating the skin. Applying a hydrating toner after cleansing leaves your skin feeling soft and plump and can enhance the absorption and effectiveness of subsequent products. These toners can be used daily, both in the morning and evening.
Exfoliating acid toners help improve skin texture and appearance. They usually contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), or polyhydroxy acids (PHAs). These chemical exfoliants remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and brighten the complexion. Regular use can lead to smoother, more radiant skin with reduced appearance of pores, blemishes, and fine lines. However, use these products cautiously, as overuse can cause irritation. Start by using them every other day in your evening routine, and gradually increase to daily use as tolerated.
General Order of Application for a Complete Skincare Routine:
Cleanser
Toner
Essence
Serum
Moisturizer
Sunscreen (during the daytime)
