New polling from The Wall Street Journal shows Vice President Harris holds a slight lead over former President Trump in battleground Michigan. Trump also bashed Detroit while speaking in Detroit this week. Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, D-Mich., joins Alex Witt to discuss what the state’s voters find important and former President Obama’s latest message to Black voters.

I spent a long weekend in Detroit 2 years ago with friends. Had a nice time. Great restaurants ran by young start ups. Crowded. Everyone very nice.
