This is a great Wide Angle Lens for Nikon or Canon and will work very well in low light situations and for group shots and create great bokeh. I used this to get some great shots on my Nikon D3200 DSLR Camera. If you want an affordable wide angle F/2.8 Lens then this si a great solution for wide shots.

Im actually gunna rent this lens for an up coming anime convention. It was great to get your thoughts on it! Im also going to rent a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 . Apparently its the only one of its kind? 1.8 at all focal lengths. Awesome.

Oddly, this lens is around £100 more expensive on the Canon mount than Nikon here on Amazon in the UK. I'd love to know how they work that out.

It's £489, which is $758 US. Yep. I love living in rip off Britain. They didn't even go with a $ to £, they added more to it too.

Other than the price complaint, this looks like a damn nice lens. It'll be a great compliment to a crop sensor body.

I also rate build quality based on how easily you could kill someone with it without damaging it haha. My L lenses manage this task... I'd assume.

Where did you see it on amazon for 300$? And I have a d3300 with kit lens.. I do more video work then photo. Will this lens give me better quality footage?

HI, cani use this lens in my canon 7D ? and what is the focal length i will get in 11-16(2.8)in my camera. for ex- if i use tamron 28-75 - 2.8...i will get (in 7d) 45-120mm..
