In this very detailed video, I explain all the settings and menu options of the JK-BMS. If you're new to the JK-BMS or just want to understand BMS settings in general, this is the video for you. I also give a lot of context and explanations about why I have chosen these settings and why they make sense.
If I forget anything or you want to add some more information, please leave your comments down below. Thank you.

The JK-BMS is one of the best integrated BMS's on the market. On my website is more information, links to the manual, app and where to buy.

I tend to catch up on your video's at night. My wife says your voice is very soothing, and she drifts off to sleep. She has no knowledge of anything battery related (not has learnt anything since hearing you) but is sleeping very well 😅

An example of how good this BMS really is. I installed 32 EVE 280 cells with no top balancing, hoping the JK BMS with active balancing would do it. The cells varied from 3.1 to 3.4 VDC. Three days later, the difference is 7 MV. Great product Andy, thanks for the recommendation.

The video is pretty long but is very informative so was worth watching every minute of it. Thank you!

Thanks Andy.
I really appreciate all the time you put in making these videos. I learned allot from your videos so far.
I want to echo what someone here said,   "As always, you are meticulous and thorough with everything you produce in you videos."

I switched to the jk bms from the daly, best decision ever.
It's the product a lot of us waited for: BMS, active balancer and a heating pad control in just 1 product.

Thank you for all the details explained. I am planning set my own DIY lifepo4 battery pack and was looking for a BMS brand that can trust. JK is a reputed brand in Sri Lanka as well. And you explaining all the features one by one was amazingly helpful.

It might take few months for the batteries to ship but now I know where to start. As I read in comments Top balancing is no longer an essential task as the BMS does take care of it.

So thanks for the great information. Take Care ❤

Another S.P.A.T from me to Andy. If you have used this good man’s content and haven’t gone to his web site and bought him a beer, you should do so ASAP. I used his recommended suppliers for 32 EVE 280 cells and a couple of these awesome BMS units. This video was “icing on the cake”
Thanks again Andy.

Hi Andy, Thanks for your very informative videos and reviews. I did a conversion from lead acid to 16 x EVE 304Ah cells in my G-Wiz EV using the JKBMS 20S - I did this about a year ago, and watched your videos to help me decide which kit to buy. Since winter time, I'm having issues with some of my cells, probably due to stress and low temperatures affecting performance. The "SOC" on the display is basically correct, but on my vehicle when I go below 40% soc, one of the cells starts to underperform, usually when the heater is on, I'm accellerating hard and going uphill... momentarily dropping below the cut-off voltage of 2.45 and the cut-off engages, stopping the car, a few seconds later, the voltage increases and it works again, I obviously turn off the heating and acellerate more gently. The other cells are obviously all ok, being over 3v. I was wondering if its possible to change the "SOC" so 0% is at the real level of 40% where my cell starts to play up. How could I do this? perhaps change the cell capacity value lower? I've ordered a replacement cell ... but I'm also mulling over adding another cell so its 17 in series to help.

The way I took it on the Vendor ID Name is. JK is the name of the company. The B2A stand for balance at 2 amps. 24S Stands for 24 in series. And the 20P stands for 20 in parallel that's the way I always took their ID name as. Thank you love your work on YouTube. I AM A BIG FAN!!!

Installed mine today with a Victron mppt 75/15, 100ah lifepo4 and a 100w solar panel for camping. Perfect and thanks for the detailed reviews and setup guide.

Thank you Andy. I’ve successfully fitted a 4-8s JK BMS following the video that ended in magic smoke, I had to check ahead so I knew it wasn’t a fitting instruction issue 😂. Now I’m getting the settings tuned 👍

Hi Andy,
in my opinion the Con.Wire Res. ist the resistance of your cell wiring. The BMS is able to calculate the "real" voltage of the battery because there is a voltage drop that becomes more important on higher currents e.g. 50A and higher. The voltage drop may be some mV but it is important, because the polarity will change while charging or discharging. so it must be added or subtracted from the cell voltage!
greetings from Germany!!

Hey Andy! Ich wollte nochmal DANKE für deinen Rat sagen. Mein System läuft jetzt seit knapp einem Monat und es schaut alles super aus. Viele Grüße aus dem Sauerland!

Loved the video. As always, you are meticulous and thorough with everything you produce in your videos. I've been a long time fan and look forward to every video! Would love for you to someday install a Batrium BMS system on one of your batteries. Please consider this at some point in the future. Take care and hope that someday soon you have the sunny hot Australia back so you can charge charge charge! Take care my friend.

Thank you. As an inexperienced user, I could not immediately figure out all the parameters. Now everything is clear. However, I had to learn English for this.
