in 3rd and 4th question don't open bracket use cosx + cosy and sinx +siny formula for easy and short method . i hope it will help every one

Sir, , in last qus, , X lies in 3rd quadrant.. still you've taken Cos as + ve ?? Why

And in 4th qus..
In 4th step .. there would be ..

In third step ..

1+1-2(cosX cosY + sinX sinY)... (as we have taken negative as common so sign will change inside the bracket)

2-2 { cos (x-y) }

2(1-cos (x-y))

2 × 2 sin² (x-y)/2
