If we Methodists would do what the Wesley's did, the "blues" would disappear in light of the red hot preaching of The Word.

Some of our preachers do preach that way and some are lost in the ho hum.  We must pray for the Methodist Church and ourselves as Methodists, to "REVIVE!".

I was a Methodist pastor for many years. Black churches called us the Frozen Chosen. I found the church to be a club run by a handful of the money people. I don;t attend any church now.

How would "The Lutheran Blues" "The Catholic Blues, " "The Presbyterian Blues, " "The Unitarian Blues, " "The Christian Scientist Blues, " "The White Baptist Blues, " or "The Evangelical Megachurch Blues" Compare?

(Cont'd) Many White churches are in the "Praise Band" vs "Sight Reading Organist" conflict. Typically the White Praise Bands cannot "hold a candle" to Black Gospel church bands, and the "Traditional" organists are to "Stodgy."

Typically the traditional organists lack what the praise bands have (Groove, spontaneity [within the limits of their musical knowledge]), and the praise bands lack what the organists have (better musical training),
