Today J dives into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to determine whether or not the Veil in the Department of Mysteries is capable of destroying a Horcrux OR if its the best most unreachable hiding place ever!

So, if Death himself is the veil, and the Invisibly Cloak is a piece of him, does that mean that when you put the cloak on, you are both "behind" and "in front of" the veil at the same time?

New Theory: I just thought of this while typing another comment, so it probably falls apart. What if the original dementors were a group of witches and wizards who created horcruxes to explore the veil--possibly haveing one on each side--but upon returning, they were trapped in between life and death, misshapen, and with the need to consume souls or at least strong emotions in order to survive, because their soul was left on the other side. The reason it's foggy when new dementors are being born--I think that was in the books...--could be because what's left of the souls the dementors consume with a dementor's kiss are returning from the other side of the veil as new dementors or something. As I said, I haven't fully thought this through.
