This surah starts with the miraculous birth of isa [jesus] [peace be upon him]. it goes on to mention some other prophets of islam: Adam, Idris [possibly Enoch], Nuh [Noah], Ibrahim [Abraham], Ishaaq [isaac], Yaqub [Jacob], Isma'il [ishmael], Musa [Moses], Harun [Aaron], Zakariyya [zacharia], and Yahya [John] PEACE BE UPON THEM ALL.

I listened to this surah through my pregnancy, as I was having a homebirth and thinking about Maryam giving birth alone under a tree helped me have the courage, I had a girl alhamdulillah and called her Maryam 😍this is also the surah I first read as a non muslim and it went straight to my heart and I knew Islam was the truth ♥️may Allah guide us all

This surah touches my soul not only bc of Maryam AS, her age, braveness and modesty with fierceness. But bc the love of my life introduced me to this surah and Maher. 4 years later I still think of her RS and a part of u lives with me as this is my fav surah (our fav surah). Pls pray I forget RS and find a righteous beautiful spouse I can lead to jannah. She’s married, I miss her and the thought of her never escapes my mind 🥲. My favourite Surah in the Quran- or I say in my top three. I love how brave Maryam A.S was even when she see Angel Jibreel from afar yet wasn’t scared even though she didn’t know who he was. The compassion Isa A.S showed to defend his mum when Mary returned with him. Lastly how Zaccariya AS was gifted with a son! I pray your children have these qualities instilled within them and are means of your jannah! AMEEN ha Kareem.
