Hey this used to work but now it doesn’t. I can get the chat to appear but the custom css is not working at all. It goes blank then re appears as normal. Can you help me fix this maybe?

Doesn't work for me. Chat isn't transparent. It was working fine up until last week. I didn't make any changes to Streamlabs at all, it suddenly just doesn't go transparent. Streamlabs does this crap all the time with updates and changes your settings around.

this is exactly what i was looking for.... now all i need to figure out is how to display chat overlay while i'm in-game playing... i need chat messages to display on my screen while i'm playing... now i use my smartphone to look at chat, but i don't like looking at my phone every 5 seconds to keep up with chat messages... it'd be much easier if chat messages popped on my monitor screen ... is there a trick to this i don't know about??

I had done this and been using it for my streams. Just went to setup my stream for next Tuesday and I now have the regular looking YouTube chat box sitting there. The code I used is still sitting there and I even copied a new one and it is not working. Any idea why?

to confirm, did yt change their app and elements / classes? I can't even seem to get simple CSS working on elements in a browser source right now for the new yt chat window. (and I'm a developer lol) seems like just a simple class doesn't actually render

I had transparent chat for a few weeks, then it suddenly stopped being transparent. No updates to OBS, no changes to code, no changes at all. I just tried using this style generator with your video and still not transparent. Frustrating!!!
