Intent-Based Networking (IBN) is the latest architectural revolution in Networking; it is a major shift of how Networks are managed. Instead of worrying for individual commands, configurations, Cisco DNA Center allows automatization, orchestration, and programmability. You will learn in this module the importance of studying SD-Access and the impact of this technology to Network Engineers. IBN is just more Software Defined Networking (SDN). While SDN is an Orchestrator, IBN is oriented to automatization, translation and implementation of network Intent. You will learn that SD-Access is the implementation of the Architecture of DNA in the Campus. Futhermore, we will explore the core components of the SD-Access solution: The Cisco DNA Center, the Identity Service Engine (ISE) and the Network Platform. Find out what is SD-Access, how does it work and Why move to it. Finally learn how does ISE fit into the SD-Access Architecture.
