There is more raw energy in this scene than perhaps any other in the series.

For those who didn't know, in the books, he and Harry didn't get along beacuse Harry refused to join together with the Ministry to show everyone the appearance of a false safety. But at the end, when Voldemort wanted the location of Harry, he tortured Rufus and when Rufus refused to tell Voldemort, he killed him.

Rufus Scrimgeor really died a Hero. He didn't give Voldemort the location of Harry while being tortured and when killed still didn't give information.

In all fairness to Scrimgeor, he did his best with the hand he was dealt. He was a true hero and stood strong, even if ultimately he failed.

ONLY 40 SECONDS, show why Bill Nighy (who played Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean if you DON'T know) is my favorite actor. Everything down to his mannerisms, facial expressions, and animations. He's a masterclass actor in my opinion.

The tone of this film was deafeningly morbid from the very beginning. This is truly when the HP films changed from popcorn movies to 'films', so to speak. For lack of a better phrase, this opening speech by the Minister showed HP fans and casual moviegoers alike that 'shit just got real'.

Possibly one of the best scenes in the entire series. Bill Nighy did such an outstanding job delivering those lines.

Even after his tragic death he remains strong this man was trained for years to hunt and defeat dark magic users and became minister and is still one of the only ministers to actively fight on his own will and not use the ministry for protection this man is a legend and will always be the best minister the magic world has ever had
