Gracie Bullyproof by the Gracie Academy

Every month in the United States, three million children miss school due to fear of bullies. In the Gracie Bullyproof program, our goal is to instill in your child unshakable confidence so they can overcome bullies without violence. Due to the non-violent nature of the techniques, CNN, NBC, and Oprah have featured the Gracie Bullyproof program as one of the few effective counter-measures to bullying for children between the ages of 5 and 13.
 
In this program, we teach your child to use verbal assertiveness to deter bullies and several non-violent self-defense techniques to stay safe if physically assaulted. Importantly, we don't teach how to punch or kick, since this often does more harm than good. Instead, we use leverage-based control holds to neutralize threats without violence. Numerous school districts have embraced the defensive nature of the Gracie Bullyproof techniques as a reasonable, nonviolent response to bullying and some even host Gracie Bullyproof classes on campus! The bottom line is: we will prepare your child to defend themselves against bullies without turning them into one.

I'm a BJJ guy and do not study GJJ nor have any interest in studying GJJ. When I have kids, they're going straight into Bullyproof. It's exactly what kids need to learn to defend themselves against bullies. As a kid who was constantly bullied at school for being foreign, I totally understand the necessity of self-defense for young children.

Worth every penny! You can't put a price on self confidence. A bully will have you wetting your pants, handing over your lunch money and not even going to school to get a education! Once you get trained you can tap out a bully in less than a minute!

Love what you guys are doing for these kids.  I was picked on but fortunately for me i was able to learn to fight back after being tired of pushed around and embarresed in front of my peers. Wish I would have know BJJ back in school. My son is  almost 8 and plan on getting him into some classes soon.

I am a adult and started Jiu Jitsu as an adult, I've done competition Jiu Jitsu and many other martial arts but the Gracie Bullyproof system is why I am a die-hard GJJ-only guy today. Nobody has anything that can come close to the protection that gives kids

Actually, my training partner and I have paid very liitle to the Gracies compared to the training experience and learning we have received. I've trained at two schools prior to training at home through GU. I must say that it is a great option if one has a dedicated partner.

Hello, i have noticed that these videos are very old.
I was wondering if you still do the Bullyproof and the Summer camp?
I love these stories, they touch my heart because i love children, and they shouldn't have to feel scared because of a bully.
I was bullied when i was younger and that is the reason why i got into Martial Arts.
Keep doing what you do.
