It’s been a while since I have seen a Tudor so crispy! Superb find and hold onto it.

Love em both, I picked the Prince OysterDate 90800 for my collection over the Datejust. Both are pretty similar, but I really like the different styling than the more common Datejust. Both are really nice watches though, thanks for sharing!

These are both such gorgeous watches. Recently I was debating between the two (although different variants) and ended up grabbing a 1601 for a great price, however there’s something so beautifully humble about a vintage Tudor. On a side note, I think the 34/36mm oyster cases are absolutely perfect for all men, away with the huge gaudy pieces!

imo, u cant go wrong with either, when we talk vintage/older Tudor/Rolex. its like a Tudor big block VS the Daytona ..both have their glory. watches like these, have SOUL. These days theres a huge marked secondhand, for watches at 34-36mm, and at low price, its a win win in my book, u really get something for your money, contra a new 2017 watch. great review as always, a great way to spent some time on a Saturday evening, so thx:-)

I’m partial towards Tudor. I don’t like Rolex’s pricing tactics that have inflated prices so much and I don’t need the name brand recognition.

Great video. Both look nice. The old Rolex jubilee bracelets I think age well in that they still hold a shine and stretch does not bother me at all. My dad had that same style Rolex but from 1987 and it had a champagne tapestry dial and the DJ became my grail because of it. I have his watch now but achieved purchasing my own mid 2016, a brand new of the year 116234 all silver with jubilee and fluted bezel. I love it to death, but I do wish Rolex made various dials the way they did in the past. My dad's DJ has the date wheel like you mentioned and nothing has be replaced or serviced... it still runs smooth and accurate to less than 1 sec a day (but only wore for 1 day straight). Once again great video.

I just bought the 74034. Mine looks just like your but not gold. I keep seeing the same reference number but with different dials, do you know what thats all about? is there a variation with the reference numbers?

That is a very clean Tudor I must say.

I thought the Tudor day date was 36mm? Are they available in 2 sizes?

I am also getting on board the small watch train. I have a 40mm chronograph that is starting to seem like a wall clock on my wrist. I have a 36mm that I love. I found a great looking Tudor oyster date on Chrono24 but I was worried 34mm is too small for me till I watched your video. It was especially helpful since I also have a 7.25” wrist. Thanks!

Is the Prince's fluted bezel solid gold or plated?

Nice video ! Just purchased a Tudor oyster prince day date 94613 from a friend . It has the same jubilee bracelet as yours has on it. Brought it to a jeweler and they were confused how to remove links for fitting. Any insight on how to remove links from the folded style bracelet

Wonderful watches! I think the size of both is perfect - they look a millions times better than the dinner plates you see on most peoples wrists these days! I prefer the Tudor bracelet, although I'd have both on leather straps if they were mine. They both are amazing watches!
