It boggles my mind to know that there are citizens in our country who fail to see that climate change is a massive national security threat...what do they need - their homes, cars and belonging being demolished?

Our Government has nowhere to put the homeless that was made homeless because of all the Storm damaged, lost job's, loss of there job related Healthcare. Not enough food to go around now. You can't replace that won't grow. And a smaller trained military to protect us. Desperate people do desperate thing's because of those things having been taking from them with just one storm. Not to mention those who have been through one bad storm to another, that has to affect their thinking.

Where have been the US all this time? like they are discovering all this just now, when climate change and all the consequences have started a decade ago. At least a decade ago, if not more.
This is the trouble when you live in your own bubble and not get information from the rest of the world.

To those whom think climate change is a hoax, what's the problem with reforestation and less pollution? No down side to protecting the environment is there? Less cancer and respiratory diseases. And beautiful landscapes. Dont see the issue with caring about a cleaner world.

Before making any progress on climate change we need to address the fact that people are ADDICTED to the power of the technology that is destroying the environment through overuse. It is extremely hard to help an addict, I didn't quit smoking until I couldn't breath or move.
