ROH is a shell of its former self and a lot of that can come down to its management ever since it was bought by Tony Khan and AEW. ROH nowadays can kinda be compared to a modern day WWE ECW, just nothing like what the original brand was. And today we’re going to talk about all the issues with ROH and what they should change as well as what they shouldn’t change and we’re gonna check out the most recent epiosde of ROH to see where its going wrong, so like the video and let’s discuss if AEW Killed ROH.

Its just TKs NXT but without any actual development or training

The birth of AEW was the actual death of ROH. Almost every major star they had jumped ship to AEW if they hadnt already left for NXT. The one beacon of hope they had was Marty Scrull, and then he shot himself in the shot. ROH hasnt been ROH for over a decade

ROH needs to be its own thing, separate from AEW. They need to have their own roster, their titles shouldn't be treated as a silver medal for AEW stars, they should have their own touring schedule where they perform at smaller venues to die hard ROH fans. And if a wrestler from one promotion crosses over to the other, it should be a big deal. It needs to be a rare occurrence.

I honestly forgot Tony Khan brought ring of honor

ROH was dead before AEW purchased it. AEW's just been prancing its corpse around like The Freys did with Robb Stark after the Red Wedding.

I watched RoH till the end and was sad when they went out of business. I was initially excited when Tony announced that he bought RoH. Tony's RoH doesn't feel like the original RoH at all. It's become the place where Tony dumps the wrestler's that he has under contract and doesn't want to use in AEW anymore. It's one step above being released. I'm not shocked that the AEW audience doesn't want to stick around and watch Tony's RoH. It's filled with the people that Tony regrets hiring.

I remember AEW marks bragging about TK buying ROH and said that TK wouldn’t ruined ROH like the way Vince ruined the modern ECW. Well, that aged like milk 😂

Chris Jericho as ROH World Champion felt like a fever dream

Sinclair killed ROH. AEW just picked up the scraps.

The reason why they stopped filming at universal studios is because apparently it was too expensive to run the shows there but it’s as if Tony hasn’t been spending enough money already 😭

Roh should just be an nxt that way they dont spend too much on talent and they can build their own stage in jacksonville maybe leading into their own performance center.

I can't say that AEW killed ROH because Athena & Billie Starkz but Tony Khan isn't doing ROH any favors, especially by stripping Bullet Club Gold of the trios titles (I hate Chris Daniels for that). It would be great if Collision was exclusive to ROH but unfortunately Tony Khan couldn't do that for some reason.

I think having ROH segments on Dynamite is probably to keep getting them TV exposure, until they can get an actual TV deal for them. Though i could be wrong.

Well ROH has slowly been dying after Madison Square Garden show in 2019! That honestly was the peak of ring of honor!

There’s absolutely no reason for Ring of Honour to still exist.

I Agree With Alot Of Your Points The Only Thing I Disagree With You Is Them Not Having Six Matches I'm Fine With Them Having That Amount Of Matches The Only Problem Is Them Not Making Enough Storylines For Some Of These Matches

Tony Khan was pulling a Vince McMahon by buying ROH like Vince brought WCW. And yet, it went nowhere. Sometimes I even forget that Tony had brought ROH.

I agree with a lot of the criticisms, thankfully it sounds like much of it is about to change. They’re starting to move to more of a TNA model, where they run small, hardcore venues, and tape in advance. I really hope that and signing dedicated ROH talent returns the Indie feel to ROH

Edit: I just saw that you mentioned some of these points at the end of the video

Tony should have given ROH a slot once he acquired it, and replaced Rampage.
