Cumha na Saorsa (Lament for Our Freedom) is a tribute to the Scottish patriots who battled the British in the fight for Scotland’s freedom in the 18th century. The British outlawed the playing of bagpipes and the wearing of tartan, as well as the use of Gaelic, and despite these efforts, Scottish music and culture has persevered through the years and is a symbol of Scottish strength and courage in the face of adversity.
