Worth mentioning that Australia has NOT banned American beef and pork. America has access to those markets. America just refuses to adhere to our bio security import laws. It’s a self imposed ban. If they adhered to the regulations then they could enter the market any time they want. That’s literally the point of the trade agreement THAT TRUMP HELPED CREATE during his last term.

Aussie here...this guy says 10% is the the lowest tariff rate available under the new program, unless my math is wrong, that's not quite as low as Russia's 0% tariff. Yeah?!

Aussie here - even before US beef started failing the import standards we didnt buy it. We dont buy fresh pork from any country because ours is so plentiful, good quality and cheap. We sent our soldiers to fight and die in pointless US wars like Vietnam and Iraq because we are loyal friends. Shame we havent picked better mates
