It was the control for me. The adult children described not being able to discuss their feelings or choices with their parents because of their mother’s need to control them, her husband expressed the same (and she completely vetoed any discussion about a reasonable compromise in their living situation to satisfy her need to control her adult children), and she talked at length multiple times about her need to control. Allow your children to make their own decisions, I’m sure they can and will do better than a cult (which she admitted to being in).

If you check out ambers daughter pearl and she is a carbon copy of robyns daughters . Right down to even be afraid to ask her parents if she could have a boyfriend . Pearl the daughter looked completly scared to tell her parents about boyfriend adam

Referencing the Pearls but not knowing what they teach… eeesh! This moment is delusional. The De La Mott kids were terrified to tell their parents about boyfriends/girlfriends in their early twenties. The fear in those kids made me sad. Let them grow up and live their own lives.

Girlfriend you nailed it with your assessment on the first video. The defenders of parents who use their kids for financial gain are just as disgusting for not wanting what’s best for the children. They take the time to attack someone for their opinions on the subject unless they think just like them. It’s cult like and that’s not a free thinker. Unless they purchased their house a long time ago I've a hard time believing they only paid $1500 a month for their home in San Diego. They stated they lived in lemon Grove, which is not the nicest area in San Diego but $1500 is very very cheap.
