I too have all of the solo stoves. I have found they work soooo good with match light charcoal ! I leave one in my Jeep at all times. Love to cook lunch while driving the national forest. Great fun

I got the complete Campfire set for my Son in Law and my Daughter as a Christmas gift since they like to camp. Ordered it before they were ready for the public and had to wait till they were made. The Stove, Pot's and Tripod.
I have been using the Original Solo Stove for several years out camping and really like it. Even use the little alcohol burner in it for quick heat to make Coffee.

One reason I like wood stoves for backcountry use is that you can burn your trash. I like to wrap my bacon in wax paper and then i can burn the paper and the eggshells after cooking and there is no trash to pack out

Great review, thank you. Pro cooking tip, crack eggs on flat service, you’re less likely to have tiny shells in your pan with the eggs.

nice vid and info. quick tip if you crack your egg and get closer to the pan instead of being so far away from the pan, your yolk wont break.

5:39 how long was the stove heating before you touched it? Because with the Titan people report that you can only lift/touch it for longer for the first 20-30 minutes. I'm thinking about getting the Campfire but I wasn't sure if it gets hotter than the Titan and burns our wood floor on the balcony.

I disagree with the prongs, in my experience the 3 prong works better. tripods are more prevalent than quadpods...theres a reason for this. Great video though with lots of good ideas, well done.

I love my campfire. I highly recommend the tripod for the 2 pot set as well. You can hang the large pot over the fire. It is more stable and allows you all the room you could ever need to throw wood in. Perfect for doing longer cooking times suck as rice or beans
