OMG, I went to Las Adelitas in Prague last July, and it was surprisingly good! Being a Mexican myself I didn't know what to expect and it was actually very good.

Mexican here, going to Prague in July. I can tell you the difference between tacos and burritos: tacos are Mexican, Burritos are not (mostly a tex-mex thing). A more technical answer is that tacos are made with corn tortillas (mostly), have a main filling (steak, chicken, whatever, ) and only onion and coriander as toppings. Burritos are made with flour tortillas only and have meat, beans, rice and veggies as fillings, plis they are wrapped. Looking forward to visiting Prague and maybe even try the Mexican restaurant. It looks very authentic!

4:00 Also, most of the best restaurants are always the ones are that are bit hidden away and where word of mouth is the key to knowing about it. Heck, in Asia, the best restaurants and food stands are the ones that both are hidden away but also looks run down. It's the ones that looks great and are out in the open that you should be weary off.

I was last in Prague when I was 10 years old on a family holiday. We used to eat most nights at the beautiful Europa Hotel on Wenceslas Square. Great food and amazing value then in what was an architectural gem. Part way through the holiday the Russians invaded and the Prague Spring was brutally crushed. It was 1968 and I shall never forget the Czech people remonstrating with the tank crews. And now Ukraine…..

I've just been to stridacka... The prices are nowhere near where you mentioned. Probably because it is during the season now. But I had one of the best meals that I ever had. The carpaccio and the chicken you had.. Well I will be back for lunch.. Thank you so much for highlighting, would have missed it!

When I was there, I went to Lokal (for a drink, but have eaten at the Lokal in Brno) and Ferdinanda by the train station for food.
