This was my first introduction to classical music. We also would play it over & over as children. My favorite was Flight of the Bumblebee. I played this for my son & he fell asleep on my chest listening. I'm smiling now. Thanks so much for posting & letting me be able to share with my child.

I got to liking this music when I was a teen. I knew about the "serious" classics. But this series of music classics really made me want to listen to them. I grew up with opera. Classical music. Light opera. Really anything but rock. Family rules. This is good music.

same for me. I used to listen to these over and over when i was a kid. As I grew older I'd hear pieces of this music and get excited b/c I'd recognize it from Hooked on Classics.

Wow...I'm so happy to have found this; haven't heard part 2 for nearly 30 years!! I first heard it on the radio; It was my first exposure to classical music and I've loved this music ever since!

I remember when this was played on the radio a lot in 1982. It started a revival in the interest of classical music. I always remember the song from Bad News Bears in it.
