Give this guy some time to develop. He has amazing physical skills thats going yo result in wins. But it doesnt happen over night. It might take a year or two but he'll get there. Right now he is just figuring things out. Once the game slows down for him the Bears offense is going to take off.

Best throws are coming quick on 0-10 yards, this is the most encouraging part

Playing way too wild when he gets pressured, runs backwards, tries to extend plays outside the pocket instead of stepping up or to the side and waiting for someone to get open

Deep throws are awful so far, really inaccurate and not many where the receiver is getting a chance

He is not facing pressure well at all and stops seeing the field when he is getting pressured, fixable but this is ultimately what ruined Justin in Chicago.

I think Caleb is way more accurate and has a better release than fields so that will help him a ton, but he needs to learn to deal with getting pressured and playing on time and in rhythm. Should lead to him being more accurate on throws beyond 10 yards

0:39 idk what the first read is supposed to be on this play but imo odunze ran a great route and got open but caleb slided to the left into pressure, if he didn't slide left and looked odunze's way that's a completion to odunze

Caleb's decision making is the only real thing that is concerning, hero ball won't work in the nfl until he develops a bit more. On the second pick Odunze was open with at least 5 yards of separation. I don't know why he decided to throw to Kmet in triple coverage. He was deadly accurate at 20 yards and below. Every 20+ yard throw seemed to be off balance coupled with sloppy footwork. Hopefully this is his first and only welcome to the nfl moment.

Caleb downfield passing has been the most concerning thing tbh

If u watched his film vs top 50 defenses, his inaccurate tendencies are heightened even more

Bears didn’t need this man. Fields and Harrison Jr. and Fuaga would have been better for us. But he did play better.
