Keshia Thomas of Fresno USD has always been motivated by the children she serves. From teacher to board member, Thomas hopes to use her status to create policy that improves the education of her students. " My goal has always been to reach an audience and be able to work for my kids on a much higher level. And so this is where I get to do that. I get to create policy that enhances the education that my students get," said Thomas.
