Scaling up a production chip takes a few extra steps to get right….

TSMC did a great job with NVDA… they only needed one mask upgrade to get to 100% output…

There will probably be another one somewhere down the line with other improvements found after thousands are operating in the field already…

Elon is famous for rattling his "Hey, we aren't going to buy your product anymore, we are going in house, " just to get the product at a better price point. Nvidia isn't biting. They can't make those chips fast enough right now.

I've been an investor in Nvidia for the past six years now because I strongly believe in the company and in the stock, but now I've been thinking of redistributing my portfolio of about $560k and buy other stocks. and asset classes. Maybe buy Tesla? They are also doing great things in the AI space. Some digital currencies too. What do you think?

Not, mostly because Musk is an a$$hole. And his politics are fascist. Also, Tesla's are a nightmare of menu driven everything, not a great way to manage things while driving. I own a Chevy Bolt and love it.
