In this video we cover the Top 5 Do's and Don'ts while Euro Nymphing. I am certain there are other key points. Some that may even out rank the tips and advice given here. However, after a year plus of doing guided fly fishing trips, these 5 things I find myself providing a lot of feedback on how to tweak and improve the foundation anglers I take out have.

The one thing I didn’t see you talk about but you actually did quite a bit in the video is being a one handed fisher, the most important thing in euro nymphing (in my opinion) would be like management. George Daniel talks about it too where you should only use your rod arm to cast and set hooks where your off hand is used to manage line. This really helps with keeping a softer touch on your sighter. Other than that this is a great video, even for someone who’s been euro nymphing for a long time I learned a couple things!

Thank you so much, those points are definitely necessary for additional practice, the casting portion was especially helpful to me since I am relatively new to Euto Fishing,

Awesome info! I really liked the section on sighter angle, that is super important and really dictates the drift.

Bro netted a fry 😆 jokes aside thanks for the tips and time you took to make the video. The fighting techniques demonstrated are paramount with larger fish I was just surprised when I saw what you were fighting haha. These tips are very helpful tho I had a bad habit of letting fish run downstream and breaking me off when it came to netting. Tight lines!

Gorgeous water and good info, but I did giggle a bit when you demonstrated how best to to fight a 4” fish. If that makes me a bad person, so be it.

Great tips, but for a newbie, I don’t even know what a ‘sighter’ is. I couldn’t see the line or leader when you were demonstrating drifts so I don’t know what you were trying to show.other than your verbal description. Were you using a sinking line? Sorry to get lost quickly but I just couldn’t see what you were trying to do.
