(picking 692) TSA 007 suitcase lock defeated in 3 ways - is it any good?

Thanks to 'lockmania' for this lock. The combination lock mechanism cannot be tensioned as no resistance on the wheels can be felt when pushing the button. However the wheel's gate can be visually recognized or detected with a feeler gauge (made from a plastic bottle). This will reveal the code and the lock opens. But the worst part is the TSA007 lock that can be raked open with just a pick - only 3 wafers and bad tolerance do not hold very long.

Thank you! The part where the gates were on my lock were painted green and therefore incredibly difficult to see if the gate was visible. The trick with the piece of plastic helped me get into my luggage quite easily

i just bought a nice used bag that had a lock without a key. Your video is amazing and provided ways to unlock. A small screwdriver or nail clippers allowed me to unlock the lock. Big THANKS!

The lock on my luggage (which seems identical to this one) makes a very clear and distinct sound when the wheel is in the right position. Nothing to pick, to decode or to tension, just turn the wheel and listen : tok, tok, tok, tok, TIK. It is even faster than entering the code.

Thanks! The first method, aligning the gates (3:10) and turning clockwise one at a time worked for me.

You have no idea how much you helped to me! Just bought a american tourister luggage from amazon. I wanted to set a code an it got stuck. I tried their factory code (which was 000) and also my code. It didn’t helped. I tried all codes from 000-200 but i gave up. Eventually i found your video and i was like, this is not gonna work. BUT YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFE🖤🖤
