How to Recover Deleted Facebook Messages

There is a simple way to recover deleted Facebook Messages. All you need to do to recover Messenger chats or Facebook messages you accidentally deleted is to request your data from Facebook.

The Facebook app actually gives you all your Facebook data if you request it in the Facebook settings. You can choose just messages or anything else you've done on Facebook. You can also select a date range for the request.

Once your request is complete, you'll get a Zip file that you can unzip and open with the Files app on your iPhone or Android.

There, you will see all messages and you can recover any messages you sent or received on Facebook or Facebook Messenger.
